I've put the 100 year old barn-wood one on and I am pretty impressed. The banjo sounded pretty damn good with the other bridges, but now it just has more "pop" and the note separation is more distinct throughout the handful of tunings I use, even when capoed and spiked. I've used a lot of bridges over the years and Bart's products are a huge step forward. To my amazement, truly expecting the Snufty to raise to the top. I really like the design of his bridges and the thickness is very good (they have enough mass, but not to heavy, nor to thin) The maple grain always runs nice and straight and most of them have very few growth lines in the wood (which I feel is the key to good sound transfer like a spruce top on a guitar) I would highly recommend you to try one of his bridges if haven't yet (their awesome). All of these criteria play into the design and build process, so getting them right is critical to letting Bart build you a perfect bridge.
